    • Yes ! we will create the event parameters and user properties in the GA4 interface with same naming convention you had in universal analytics

    • Yes ! you can abandon the changes in GTM (We will never publish GTM for you)
    • We will also create a backup for the latest JSON file from your GTM in case you’ll need it in the future.

    • Yes, you can continue to use Universal Analytics even after upgrading to GA4. However, it is recommended to eventually migrate all of your data to GA4 and retire your Universal Analytics properties, as Google has announced that it will eventually sunset Universal Analytics.

    • Our product will automatically update your tracking code in your GTM to the GA4 format, so you won't need to make any changes to your website. However, you may want to review your current tracking implementation to ensure it is set up correctly and tracking the data you need.

    Yes, you will need to update the tracking code on all pages of your website to the GA4 format in order to track data with the new version. Our product makes this process easy by automatically updating your tracking code for you.

    • A receipt will be delivered to your email address every time the charge is made.

    • You can pay for the subscription with your credit card from the plan page.

    • No user or usage information is used. The only thing the owner monitors is API usage, so that it can be determined if quotas need to be increased to ensure the tool works smoothly.

    To create a Google Analytics 4 (GA4) account, follow these steps: Go to the Google Analytics website (https://analytics.google.com/) and sign in with your Google account.

    1. Click the "Admin" button in the bottom left corner of the page.
    2. In the "Account" column, select "Create a new account" from the dropdown menu.
    3. Enter a name for your account in the "Account Name" field.
    4. In the "Data Stream" section, click the "Web" option.
    5. Enter a name for your data stream in the "Data Stream Name" field. This can be the same as your account name or something different.
    6. Enter the URL of your website in the "Website URL" field.
    7. Accept the terms of service and click the "Create Stream" button (this will be your configuration tag id)

    • SaveGA is an API tool used for managing and updating Google Tag Manager containers, tags, triggers, and variables and google analytics dimensions and metrics.

    • No information is shared with third parties, with other users, with analytics tools, with marketing partners, or any other party.

    • A project is a combination of a GTM account with an universal analytics property and the new GA4 property.

    • GA4 is the latest version of Google Analytics, which includes a number of new features and improvements over Universal Analytics (the previous version).

    • Choose the GTM account and container where you have the universal analytics tags you wish to convert.
    • Choose your GA4 configuration tag (this should be your GA4 destination account)
    • Choose you current universal analytics property and the destination GA4 account

    • Events will be transformed as follow:
      • Event category -> event name
      • Event action -> event parameter (event_action)
      • Event label-> event parameter (event_label)

    • You only convert tags using SaveGA, we will never download any of your analytics data or store any information from any of your accounts.
    • SaveGA might store statistical data of numbers of tags which were migrated, nothing more.

    • Currently we only support conversions for web tags

    • GA4 offers a number of benefits, including enhanced data collection, improved accuracy and reliability, and new machine learning capabilities. It also offers greater integration with other Google products, such as Google Ads.

    • No, your data will be preserved when you upgrade to GA4. However, some features and reports may not be available in GA4, so it's a good idea to review your current tracking implementation and plan for any potential impacts before upgrading.

    • Some of your current tracking configurations, such as custom dimensions and metrics, may not be compatible with GA4 and will need to be reconfigured. We will automatically configure your custom dimensions as follow:
      • Hit scope custom dimension - event parameters
      • Session scope custom dimensions - event parameter
      • User scope custom dimension - user property
          • All custom dimensions and metrics will keep their current universal analytics naming.
